Luz de Luna helps women and girls at risk of, or exiting, commercial sexual exploitation become independent entrepreneurs. It is the first solution to pair livelihood training and psychosocial support in a single coach — available 24/7, on any phone, without shame or judgment.
Two barriers, faced at once
Women trapped in or at risk of commercial sexual exploitation face two obstacles at the same time: no viable path to income, and the trauma that makes rebuilding feel impossible. Most programs address one or the other. And few reach women where they actually are — on the phone in their hand, at any hour they need it.
Meet Sol
Sol is a coach women reach through WhatsApp or Telegram. She meets each woman with a few simple questions, listens, and helps her take a first concrete step this week — turning what she already knows into real income.
The goal isn’t a side hustle that buys groceries. It’s a real income — the kind that pays.
Entrepreneurship
Rebel Business School’s zero-capital method, as short videos in Colombian Spanish.
Psychosocial support
Trauma-informed CBT and resilience coaching, woven into every conversation.
On demand, at her pace
Guidance and content the moment she asks — with privacy and safety built in.
Her name, address, and photo are never shared unless she chooses. A companion web app maps her journey as a visual set of milestones.
Income that arrives quickly
For a woman leaving exploitation, speed is everything: a path that takes a year asks her to survive the exact gap that traps her. Sol is built for a first sale in the first weeks — then a steady ramp to an income she can truly live on.
Starting in Colombia, in 2026
Our first cohort — roughly 25 women in Bucaramanga, Colombia — launches in 2026 with in-person onboarding and about six months of digital follow-through — the window in which women ramp to a livable income. Luz de Luna is a social enterprise under Madiro, free for every participant and sustained through grants and enterprise partnerships.
